Itinerary

After you reach Kathmandu airport, you will be transferred to the hotel of your stay by our representative. Overnight stay at hotel in Kathmandu.

First thing in the morning, we head to Kathmandu airport to catch our flight to Lukla. After a brief rest break, we move to Phakding along an easy path which few ascends; Phakding is a beautiful Sherpa village situated above the river, Dudh Koshi.

On this day, we move past lush green pine forest following the river, Dudh Koshi as we cross several suspension bridges en route Benkar village, Monjo, Jorsole and Chimoa. We will see mt. Thamserku (6618 meters) as we continue along the Dudh Koshi river at the confluence of this river with Bhote Koshi. 
We ascend upwards as we cross the Tenzing-Hillary suspension bridge and we reach Namche Bazaar after ascending for around three hours. We get to savor the view of Mt. Everest along with Nuptse and Lhotse here. Overnight stay at Namche Bazaar ina teahouse.

We visit the places around Namche Bazaar on this day in order to adjust to the higher elevation. We first visit the airport at Syangboche (3720 meters) which is popular as the airfield at the second highest elevation across the world and then we go to Khumjung village (3840 meters) to witness the interesting Yeti monuments. We savor the majestic views of the might Everest range. Overnight stay at a teahouse.

After a hearty breakfast, we move across our trekking path savoring the picturesque views of the Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam along with the close view of the Thamserku Khangtaiga. Our trekking route moves along lush green forest which is home to the musk deer (herd of the Himalayan Thar), pheasant (Danphe, the national bird of Nepal). And so on. We descend to Dudh Koshi river where we can see some lodges and prayer wheels.

Now, we cross a bridge across the river, Dudh Koshi and have a steep climb for around two hours to finally reach Tengboche. We can visit the popular Tengboche Gompa with Ama Dablam, Everest and Nuptse on the background along with many other beautiful peaks. In the months of October and November, on full moon nights, the popular Mani Rimdu festival is celebrated here in the courtyard of the monastery. Overnight stay at a teahouse.

We descend to the small village of Deboche which is embellished with Chortens as well as Mani stone walls along with nun monastery. We move across the Imja Khola over a bridge and ascend to the place named Pangboche enjoying the views of Ama Dablam. We move up towards the Imja valley and walk along the Lobuche river to reach Dingboche which is a Sherpa village with picturesque terraced farm fields, where barley, potatoes, and buckwheat grows.  Overnight stay at a teahouse.

We explore the area around Dingboche for acclimatization on this day. We will have three to four hours of walk to the Gangkartshang Gompa which is near the ridge to the north of Dingboche.  We get to see the Mount Makalu (8463 meters); the 5th tallest peak across the world in the east and the amazing view of Mt. Ama Dablam. We can move to the hill summit at Nangkartshang(5090 meters) for a more exhilarating experience. Retrace our steps back to Dingboche for an overnight stay at a tea house.

After a hearty breakfast, we walk up to the ridge with panoramic views of the Cholatse and Tawache peak. We move along the pasture land to the place named Dhukla (4620 meters) as we cross a bridge over a raging stream. We ascend for around an hour to the moraine of the Khumbu Glacier which has a memorial for climbers who lost their lives while ascending Everest. We can enjoy the scenic beauty of Pumori (7145 meters), Lingtren (6697 meters), Khumbutse (6623 meters) and the Mahalangur. We move up the valley and reach Lobuche in an hour. Overnight stay at a teahouse.

On this day, we reach the main point of the trekking journey. After an early breakfast, we walk up a rocky road with the views of Mt. Pumori, Lingtern, Nuptse, Khumbutse, MahaLangur and the mighty Mount Everest.

We move to Gorakshep first; her, we check in to a hotel for lunch and we get going. We move to the Everest Base Camp where we can savor the view of the Khumbu icefall and the beautiful campsite with colorful tents, especially during expedition season. Head back to Gorakshep which is our overnight stop.

We climb to Kala Patthar which will take around two hours. We set out on our journey early in the morning so we can enjoy the glistening sight of mountains as the sun rises. W can first see the Evrst (8848 meters) and then other peaks including Pumori (7145 meters), Khumbutse (6623 meters), Nuptse (7861 meters), Changtse (7550 meters), Lingtren (6697 meters), Lhotse (8516 meters) along with Cho Oyu (8201 meters) westwards and Ama Dablam on the south along with many other peaks.

We had back to Gorak Shep for breakfast and then move to Lobuche. We return near the Khumbu glacier and descend down to reach Pheriche village. Overnight stay at Pheriche.

We descend down to Deboche on this day after ascending through the lush green rhododendron jungle to the top of Tengboche village which has a significant monastery and amazing views all around.

After descending for some time, we reach Phunki Tenga (3250 meters) across the river, Imja which is the lowest point of the trek. We climb till Sanasa and then walk to Namche Bazaar. Overnight stay at Namche Bazaar.

We walk through the villages like Jorsale, Phakding, Monjo and then cross the bridge over Thado Koshi before ascending to Cheplung and Ghat. We finally move down to Lukla and bid our goodbyes to our porter. Overnight stay at Lukla.

After having early morning breakfast, we board on the plane to get back to Kathmandu. We will transfer you to your hotel upon reaching Kathmandu. A tasty farewell dinner awaits you at an authentic Nepali restaurant alongside cultural show that you will enjoy. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kathmandu.
