The major portion of the ancient town of Bhaktapur is recognized as the heritage area. Cultural tour of Bhaktapur allows one to visit the World Heritage site of Bhaktapur Durbar square - the palatial city of Malla Kings, heritage sites of Dattatreya, Taumadhi, and Pottery squares. They are open spaces strewn with pagoda styled, shikhara, and gumba styled temples dedicated to Hindu deities.

Traditional woodcarving and pottery are crafting inherent to this town. Streets and alleys lined with homes adorned with beautiful wood carved windows and balconies make this town charming. At the altitude of 1985m, Nagarkot is a highly popular hill station for viewing the mountains, especially the Eastern Himalayan range. Here, the scenery of bright reddish rays of the sunset over the valley and hills is simply beautiful. The night is spent at Club Himalaya, a deluxe resort furbished with all essential amenities.
At sunrise, a fresh morning welcomes with a grand view of Himalayan peaks washed with golden sun rays. From West to East of snow-capped mountains inclusive of Ganesh Himal (7405m), Shisha Pangma (8013m), Gang Chenpo (6397m), Dome Blanc (6830m), Dorje Lakpa (6990m), Lonpo Gang (7083m), Purbi Chyachu (6658m) and Mt.Everest (8848m) provide breathtaking views.
Of Changu Narayan temple:
The two-storied historic temple of Changu Narayan is a sight to behold, perched majestically on the western hill of Dolagiri mountain, overlooking the valley floor, artistically constructed in pagoda style. The belief is that since time immemorial, God lived in this sacred site. Changu Narayan is also known as Chapa Narayan, Narayan Champak, and Narayan Garuda as per the local. Although the temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the guardian, it is visited not only by Vaisnabs but by Buddhists, Ganpati (Lord Ganesh worshippers), Shaktas (Goddess Shakti worshippers), in other words by all Hindus alike. Identified by UNESCO as the oldest temple and one of eight UNESCO World Heritage sites in the nation, the temple area's popularity is enhanced by visitors from other countries as well.

The Changu Narayan temple sacred site, dating back to beyond the 4th century, is the oldest monument listed in Nepal’s World Heritage site. Lord Visnu, the savior, lives within the temple, which is a two-story pagoda as per the Hindu belief. The temple was originally built in the 3rd century and features highly skilled craftsmanship in its woodcarvings, stone carvings, and metal carvings. The stone inscription of King Mandev from 464 AD, the statue of Garuda from the same time, and numerous idols depicting various incarnations of Lord Vishnu are strewn in his courtyard.

Our agent will take you to the hotel as soon as you land to the TIA. After reaching the hotel have some lunch and relax for a while. Later on, the same day, walk around Bhaktapur Durbar square. Have dinner at one of the hotels.

Wake up early in the morning with a cup of tea or coffee. Soon start your journey towards Nagarkot to enjoy the sunrise. Walk around the Nagarkot area to enjoy the natural grandeur. After that, have breakfast in one of the hotels in Nagarkot. Then move to Changu Narayan shrine for a cultural tour. Later move back to the homestay for lunch and walk around the heritage site of Bhaktapur. In the evening you will be served a traditional dinner as a farewell dinner.
On the last day of departure, hike to Subarneswor and get back to homestay. Later, get ready for Tribhuwan International airport or any you’re any other preferred destination in Kathmandu valley.
