Ashalbotey Community Homestay, Tanahun

Ashalbotey Community Homestay is located in Bandipur Rural Municipality - 3, Tanahun. There are sixteen homes in the area that offer homestay services. They have 32 rooms for 80 people. The homestay in Aashubotey can be reached by taking a bus from Kathmandu to Dumre Bazaar and then to Bandipur, and to Seretar.

Once at Seretar, you can go visit the Mahadev Mandir, Ramkot’s Gol Ghar, and take a dip in Sholay Daha. Other activities involve going to the Aashaubote Mela, sightseeing in Seretar, and taking part in the melas and jatras of the Newari locals.

On the day of your arrival, the community will greet you with a greeting ceremony, and on the day of your departure, there will be a farewell event. The host community will take part in a cultural event in the evening.

Traditional Nepalese meal is prepared by the homestay host using organic veggies. The homestay has a relaxing accommodation, guest room, toilets, power, and running water. In case of an emergency, there is a hospital and a police station in Bandipur.
