Perched atop a hill, reaching the village requires a pleasant 2-kilometer walk along a stone-paved road. The village predominantly consists of Gurung people, who have inhabited the traditional stone houses for centuries. Additionally, a small number of Brahmins and Dalits have settled in the village over time, creating a diverse community.

The culinary experience is equally captivating, as you get to taste fresh organic food sourced directly from local gardens.
