Namje Thumki Community Homestay, Dhankuta

Nestled in the scenic villages of Namje and Thumki within Sanghurigadi Rural Municipality-6, Dhankuta, lies the charming Namje Thumki Community Homestay. This welcoming community comprises 19 operating homes, collectively offering 45 rooms with a generous capacity of 110 beds. Accessing this idyllic homestay village is a convenient journey: take a plane from Kathmandu to Biratnagar, then a scenic private jeep ride from Biratnagar to Bhedetar, and finally reach the homestay village.

Note: Due to high visitor numbers, Namje Thumki Community does not accept same-day bookings, so please inform us and confirm your booking at least 10 days in advance. Friday, Saturday and Sunday are the busiest days, and availability may fill up quickly.

Namje and Thumki boast an array of major tourist attractions that cater to a variety of interests. Aatma Ghar, Suryodaya Buddha Bihar, Bahujatiya Sangrahalaya, Charles Tower/Skywalk in Bhedetar, Zip Line, Sankheshowar Mandir, Pathivara Mandir, Sanghurigadhi, and Namaste Jharna are among the renowned destinations that invite visitors to explore their cultural and natural treasures.

Adventure enthusiasts can also indulge in thrilling activities such as white water rafting in Mulghat and paragliding from Namje Dhanda and Chioti Murung, offering a unique and exhilarating experience in this picturesque region.
