Everest Base Camp trek is one of the popular trekking destinations across the globe for climbing mountain. This is a once in a lifetime experience given the exhilaration it has to offer. As much as this adventure is challenging, it is rewarding as well.

We start getting to higher elevation and chillier weather as soon as we start from Namche Bazaar. We will see diverse landscapes, vegetations, wildlife, people, lifestyle and culture. You will be amazed by the natural scenery you get to see. Also, this is an excellent opportunity to explore the natural surrounding comprising of lush green valleys, forests, and natural river bodies, and so on. You can visit the Sagarmatha National park home to different flora and fauna. The six tallest peaks across the globe, namely the Mt. Makalu, Mt. Cho Oyu, Mt. Everest, and Mt. Lhotse can witness on the background of the spectacular scenery.

Itinerary

You will receive by our representative, from Outshine Adventure at the airport who will be waiting for you with a nameplate of our company. When you reach Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel. After relaxing for some time, you shall be taken to our company for relevant documentation as well as information.

Early in the morning, you will provide with a hearty breakfast after which around nine, the sightseeing tour will commence. Our trip takes us around the important cultural sites like the Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath, and Pashupatinath. The guide will provide information on each while sightseeing. Later, in the afternoon time will be there for the preparation of the trek and for shopping for equipment.

We reach Lukla from Kathmandu within half an hour via a flight. We eat a hearty breakfast at Lukla and enjoy the mountain scenery. After breakfast, we head to Phakding by descending. It will take around three hours to reach Phakding as we move along Dudh Koshi river. Stay overnight in Phakding.

We will walk for a longer time compared to the previous day. It will take around five hours, and we ascend 850 m up to Namche. We move along Dudh Koshi river relishing the beauty of the natural surrounding. We finally reach Namche Bazaar after a long walk. Namche Bazaar has many things to explore, be it its buzzing market or interacting with the folks. Overnight stay at Namche Bazaar.

Since w are heading to a higher elevation, we stay at Namche Bazaar for acclimatisation. We hike up to the Everest View hotel to savour the views of Everest, Lhotse, Thamserku, Lhotse Ama Dablam, Kusum Kangaru and Nuptse. It is going to take two hours to reach there, and we will get some tea as we enjoy the panoramic view of the snow-capped mountains. Afterwards, we retrace our steps back to Namche Bazaar where w stay overnight.

After a great time in Namche Bazaar, on this day we head to Tengboche which will take us around five hours. Tengboche is a quaint village which has to offer spectacular views of Ama Dablam along with an ancient monastery to visit. We can visit this monastery where the Lama workship in the morning as well as evening. Overnight stay in Tengboche.

We rach Dingboche in around five hours as we walk past rhododendron forests with Ama Dablam and the Mt. Kantega (6779 meters) on the backdrop. We reach a vast Mani stupa on our way up. We first enter the Imjatse valley situated at the lap of the fantastic Nuptse, Lhotse and Ama Dablam and we can even see the Island Peak (6189 meters). We finally reach Dingboche and stay there overnight.

On this day, we do not ascend too much for our bodies to acclimatise. We head to the Chhukung valley and get back to Dingboche later in the evening. We will get the chance to enjoy Ama Dablam’s north face and also the Lhotse-Nuptse ridge. The path even leads to Island Peak. We will get enough time for rest in the afternoon, and we can savour the views of the Ama Dablam, Tawoche Peak, Island peak and others.

We walk for five hours on this day. We trek till Dughla valley and then finally reach Lobuche as we walk along pristine frozen rivers with houses made up of stones. We can savour the view of the Khumbu Ice Fall, several snowy peaks including Pumori.

It is going to take around three and a half hours to reach Gorakshep and then another three hours to reach the Everest Bas Camp. We will hike up and explore, and then return for overnight stay. We reach the main point of our journey on this day.

We ascend the high valley, witness the Khumbu glacier, move on the rugged path along Kala Patthar(5545 meters) and the Mt. Pumori (7145 meters). We will have the time of our lives on the EBC and then retrace back to Gorakshep after having a great time.

It is going to take around six hours. We start early in the morning; we hike to Kala Patthar, an excellent viewpoint from where we can watch the Mt. Everest and many other picturesque peaks. All this effort put into summiting up to this altitude will feel worth all the effort.

On this day, we retrace our steps back to Namche Bazaar from where we first started. It will take around six hours. W can enjoy the natural environment on our way. We will enjoy our evening at Namche where we can go shopping, enjoy drinks and pool houses.

After walking for five and a half hours, we get back to Lukla. We walk past Namche Bazaar en route Phakding to get here.  We will get the well-deserved rest her. There are restaurants, shops, and bars to spend the remaining time here.

We board on the plane to get back to Kathmandu from Lukla. It marks the end of the adventure as we retrace our steps back to the capital with this scenic flight. After thirty minutes, w reach Kathmandu enjoying the natural sceneries from the window. You will transfer to your hotel upon arrival in Kathmandu.

After a hearty breakfast, you will be taken to the international airport from where you can head to your next travel destination or back to your native country. You can even add some days or activities for Nepal if you aspire.

Remember that if the package is cancelled or modified within 30 days before the date of the trip, no fee shall be charged but if cancelled without considering the given term, 100% of the entire reservation cost shall be charged.
