This trekking journey begins from Kathmandu as we fly to Lukla and then we cross many beautiful villages, forests, diverse terrains, and summer settlements to finally step on the bottom of the tallest peak there is in the world. Itinerary

Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be received by our representative and escorted to the hotel of your stay. You are going to stay at a tourist standard hotel. You will be taken to our office for a pre-trek meeting to brief you about the trekking journey. You will be introduced to the trekking leader or guide there. In the evening, we welcome you with a tasty welcome dinner at a fine Nepali restaurant alongside Nepalese cultural show.

Overnight stay in Kathmandu at a hotel inclusive of all the meals

On this day, we go for a full day sightseeing tour to the places namely the Monkey temple- Swoyambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Bouddhanath Stupa along with the Pashupatinath temple which is revered by the Hindus. All three meals provided.

Early in the morning, we fly to Lukla which is going to take around thirty-five minutes; at Lukla, we meet the trekking crew and begin our trekking journey. We have an easy, gradual walk en route Chauri Kharka and then we move down to the Dudh Koshi Ghat (2530 meters). We walk along the bank of the river Dudh Koshi till we reach Phakding (2652 meters). This is where we stay for the night. We can go around exploring the village. Overnight stay at a lodge inclusive of breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

After a hearty breakfast, we begin our trek for the day. We cross Dudh Koshi River via a suspension bridge and then move along a pine forest. After walking for two hours, we get to Monjo which is the entry point to Sagarmatha National Park. We get our permits checked here and then descend to the river again. We walk past Mani stones as well as in scripts here before we step on Jorsale. We then head uphill to reach Namche. We get our lunch at Jorsale. We reach Namche Bazaar as we cross a suspension bridge over a river and then walk uphill. Namche Bazaar is a popular place because of its significance as the entry point to reach Everest and for being the prime trading point of this whole region. Overnight stay at Namche inclusive of breakfast, lunch as well as dinner.

Since we are scaling higher elevation, we take some time resting to acclimatize to the increasing altitude. We spend this day at Namche exploring the nearby areas; we have the choice to hike till Everest viewpoint which is two hours uphill climb and it allows amazing views of the Khumbu and Everest. We can spend time exploring the Namche area; we can go to the Sherpa museum or the local market. Namche Bazaar is a major tourist hub and it has all the important mountaineering and trekking equipment and clothing. Overnight stay at Namche inclusive of all three meals.

After having a good time exploring Namche, we resume our trek as we head to Tyangboche from where we can move to EBC. After eating breakfast, we start walking savoring the view of the amazing mountain peaks. We will see Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Kwangde, Thamserku, and the mighty Everest. We reach the riverside after we walk down for some time. We then climb uphill through a dense jungle. We ascend to finally reach Tyangboche. This will take us around two hours. Tyangboche has an ancient monastery and offers a beautiful view of the Ama Dablam peak. Tyangboche Monastery is the largest in the Khumbu region. We can spend time exploring the monastery and going for a prayer. Overnight stay at Tyangboche inclusive of breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

After we have breakfast in Tyanboche, we head to Dingboche as we first move down a rhododendron forest to reach Deboche. We then cross a bridge above the river, Imja. We finally get to Dingboche en route Pangboch village as we transverse the plains there.  If you like, we can have lunch at Pangboche which is a huge settlement occupied by the Sherpas. We can also hike to the monastery at Pangboche. Overnight stay in Dingboche inclusive of breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

We trek uphill from starting from this day so it is going to be strenuous. We walk gradually till Dungla and then head to the hilltop towards the memorial for deceased climbers. We walk over rugged terrain to reach the Loboje settlement We can enjoy the view of the Mt. Pumori, Nuptse, Lobuche on this path. Overnight stay in Lobuche inclusive of breakfast, lunch as well as dinner.

From this day onward, the trek is gradual uphill; due to the altitude, it is harder and tough. However till reaching to the Dungla, the walking is mostly gradual and after here to the top of the hill to the memorial stupas of the climbers who lost their life’s while trekking and climbing over to the Khumbu Himalayas, the trail is steep incline thus it is a tough uphill. Another short walk from this hilltop following a walking over rugged mountain route brings us to the small settlement of this hilltop at Loboje for overnight. The best views of Mt. Lobuche, Mt. Pumari and the Nuptse are just incredible. The day and night expected to be pretty cold here. O/N at Lobuche. B/L/D

We first walk from Lobuche to Gorakshep and then we hike till Everest Base Camp. We walk across the moraine and rocky dunes with ascends and descends across the Khumbu Glacier moraine before we step on the glacier. We get to see the Khumbu icefall here. If we take this trek in the main trekking season, we will get to see climbing set up of other climbers along with tented camps. It will be a colorful sight. We head back to Gorakshep late in the afternoon. Inclusive of breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

On this day, we walk uphill to reach Kalapatthar early in the morning to enjoy the views of the mighty Everest at the height of 8848 meters and the amazing Khumbu peaks. We will also spot the Mt. Lingtren, Pumari, Lhotse, Nuptse and so on. We can capture the moment in photographs as much as we want. It is going to be chilly so make sure you have adequate clothing. After having a great time, we move back to Gorekshep and eat breakfast. We then walk back to Pheriche to stay overnight. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided.

We have a gradually, easy walk down to Tyangboche first and we climb over a hill for an hour to reach Namche. It will be a pleasant walk to Namche. Overnight stay at Namche Bazaar inclusive if breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

After we have breakfast, we walk down a steep trail to cross a suspension bridge and then we walk past several villages along Dudh Koshi to reach Lukla en route Phakding. We get rest at the hotel and can celebrate the successful completion of the trek to Everest Base Camp. Overnight stay at Lukla.

It will take us around thirty-five minutes to reach Kathmandu as we fly from Lukla. After eating breakfast, we board on the flight to get back to the capital. You will be transferred to the hotel of your stay where we can take the well-deserved rest after the strenuous walk. We meet you in the evening where we take feedback from you and then enjoy farewell dinner at a Nepali restaurant here. Overnight stay at Kathmandu in a hotel inclusive of breakfast.

This is your final day in Nepal. After having breakfast, you can go carry out individual activities around Kathmandu including shopping for souvenirs or just strolling around. Our representative will escort you to the international airport before you scheduled flight from where you can head back to your native country or your next travel destination. Note that you have the choice to extend your vacation in Nepal if you want to by contacting us.

The itinerary can be changed to your preferences. Kindly inform us if you want to extend the duration or shorten it. If you prefer to stay longer than fifteen days, you can choose to have a city tour at Kathmandu or go for jungle safari, rafting, Everest Mountain flight and so on. We will be happy to serve your travel needs well.
