After finishing the fine formalities, you'll be driven back at your lodge, where the adventure truly begins.
Your accommodations will be at the Thamel Eco Resort or a decent 3-star hotel, chosen for comfort and ease. Situated in the lively Thamel district, the resort also offers the base and mix of peace and accessibility, allowing you to rest after your travels while still being close to various shops, restaurants, and cultural integrity.
On day two, you will rise at morning and catch the first flight through Kathmandu to Lukla, a journey which gives great views of the mountains as you move at the core of the Khumbu valley. Upon landing through flight, Lukla, known for its problematic airport, the thrill sets an adventurous feel for your overall journey. At arrival, our team will also greet you and see you at the close hotel for light refreshment, giving you enough time to recharge before setting off the trail.
Later, you will begin your trek at the Everest Base Camp, starting with the easy climb to Phakding. The trail will see you at the banks for Dudh Koshi River, with the blue themed waters flowing beside you, thus creating an impressive backdrop for your hike.
After the heavy breakfast at Phakding, we will go to our destination for the day: the busy Namche Bazaar. The trail also follows the bank of the Dudh Koshi River, with Thamserku's lovely peak providing a scenic backdrop.
Upon reaching Bengar, the path will see you climb steeply through the dense forest, leading us to the Chumoa. Along the way, we pass through Monjo before arriving at the Sagarmatha National Park entrance, where we'll have to show our permits and pay the total entry fees.
It is placed strategically at 3,440 m; Namche Bazaar is a thriving Sherpa village and the best side part of Everest side. After many days of trekking, today is also dedicated to rest and, giving your body time to heal adjusts to the altitude before moving forward. This break is also necessary to have, as it prepares you for the hazardous trails ahead while providing a great opportunity to explore the great culture and hospitality for the indigenous people.
These experiences also improve your understanding of the local culture and landscape, making your stay at Namche Bazaar bossy and knowledgeable. Upon the day of exploration, you will return at your lodge, where you can also relax and look back on the trek that just took place.
After consuming a full breakfast at Namche Bazaar, our next move will be towards Tengboche, filled with happiest for the whole day hereafter. The trail starts begins with the steep ascent, demanding our courage and un parallel stamina but rewarding us with several views of majestic peaks such as Mt. Everest, Nuptse and so on.
Upon coming at Tengboche, we will be seen in the happy environment encircled by the famed Tengboche Monastery, one of the Everest region's biggest and most important monasteries in these icy realms.
Today, our trek sees us through the Tengboche to Dingboche, a journey mixed with the beauty of the Himalayas. As we left the Tengboche, we will be going through colorful rhododendron forests, and the fragrance filled flowers to encourage us.
Crossing the main suspension bridge over the Imja Khola will ensure we make our way towards Minlinggo and enter the brilliant Imjatse Valley. The views will also become increasingly dramatic as we move to Dingboche, a great village made against tall peaks.
Today, we will take a greatly deserved rest day at Dingboche, acclimate, and charge up for the daring adventures ahead. Upon the leisurely breakfast, you can go on a hike to Chhukung, a small village located on the edge of the Imja Valley.
The hike to Chhukung is gentle, allowing you to dive into the tranquil landscape and take in the lovely flora and fauna rare in this region. As you walk, you'll see yaks grazing and meet some friendly Sherpa’s going about their business. Upon reaching Chhukung, you can take some moments to absorb the great views before returning to Dingboche
We go and take a road towards Lobuche, a tall journey which takes around 5-6 hours through Dingboche. The trail will leads us through at the lovely Pheriche village, where we can be amazed at the great artistic sight of many impressive peaks, including Tawache, Pokalde and many more
The scenery is also cool, and the cold mountain air gives our spirits as we make our way at the surrounding path. Upon coming at Lobuche, we will be going into the comfortable teahouse for the night, ready to rest and prepare for the next great part of our trek at the region.
After taking breakfast in the Lobuche, we will take our ascent in the Everest Base Camp, going all through the lesser settlement through the Gorakshep. The trail will also take us to the rocky paths at the icy Khumbu Glacier, giving great sightings of the nearby landscape.
Upon happening upon the Everest Base Camp, you will also have the chance to enjoy the awe-inspiring atmosphere here. Take loads of pictures and enjoy the moment as you stand at the foot of the world's largest peak ever.
We hike unto to Kala Patthar, well known for the breathtaking sunrise views for the Himalayas. As the sun starts to move and rising ever in upper direction, the landscape modifies, lightening up the peaks of Everest, Pumori, Lingtre, etc., in golden hue colored glow.
After being lost in the views, we also go toward Pheriche, where we can also visit the Himalayan Rescue Association Aid Post. Once we also come to Pheriche, we will be settling into the great local lodge for the whole night, allowing us to reflect at the incredible experiences.
Today, we also trek through Pheriche back at the Tengboche, going on our steps through the lovely landscape. The path will lead us through the beautiful forests and happy villages, allowing us to go into the peaceful atmosphere of the Khumbu region once more.
Upon arriving at Tengboche, you can also visit the local research center to gain insights into the region's main ecology and conservation sustainability for the next part of our great adventure.
Today, we will go back on the return journey through Tengboche and Namche Bazaar, a trek that will take four and a half hours. The trail will take us all through traditional Sherpa villages, like Khunde and Khumjung, where you can appreciate the rich culture and hospitality of the local people.
During our trek, we'll also visit the famous Yeti Scalp monastery, a revered site that adds a touch of mystery to our daunting adventure. When we reach Namche Bazaar in the evening, you'll have a great time relaxing and unwinding in the same lodge.
After the heavy breakfast at Namche Bazaar, we will begin our descent at Lukla, again enjoying the familiar trails. The hike also offers great views and a sense of accomplishment as we move through the lush landscapes we first explored.
Upon arriving at Lukla, you'll have time to enjoy and explore the thriving town. Soak in the local atmosphere, visit all the shops, or relax at a nearby café while going on the incredible experiences for the trek.
A flight all through Tenzing-Hillary Airport in Lukla back to Kathmandu, seeing the last scenes of the legendary mountains as we move slightly down. Upon coming in the capital of Nepal, the bustling city spreads its arms and welcomes us, filled with delightful sights and sounds which differ sharply from the peaceful beauty of the mountains.
In the evening, we'll enjoy a delightful dinner at the wonderful Bhojan Griha, a traditional Nepali restaurant giving a refreshing dining experience with tasty local foods. Afterwards, we'll return to the safety and comfort at the place known as Thamel Eco Resort.
Upon the best journey taken all through the Himalayas, you'll be driven back to Tribhuvan International Airport for departure. This is the very last point of your tour allowing you to reflect at the great experiences and great sights you have also seen at your trek in the Everest Base Camp.
As you come to the Nepalese airport, you can also engulf the later moments in Nepal, perhaps taking up a few souvenirs or merchandise to remind you of your unparalled journey. With a heart full of everlasting memories and stories to share with, you'll go and take your flight back home.
Carry all necessary documents required for travelling in Nepal, e.g. visas, permits, etc.. Our porters only carry weight up to 20-25 kgs from your main bag.
