The best and economic trek to experience the Everest Region is the 14 Days Budget Everest Base Camp Trek. This trip lets you explore the vastness of the Khumbu Region within 14 days.

The trek takes you on a journey to the Everest Base Camp located at the height of 5,364 m. On the way, you pass through thick, dense forests that are full of rhododendrons and waterfalls.

The main attraction of the 14 Days Budget Everest Base Camp Trek is the majestic view of the highest mountain in the world, Mt. Everest (8,848 m) popularly known as the roof the world.

Although it's amongst the physically challenging trips in Nepal, the closeness to nature gives you an adrenaline rush that helps you to push forward.

Our final destination is Kala Pathar (5,644.5 m). From here you can enjoy the majestic panoramic views of snowcapped mountains like Mt. Lhotse (8,516 m), Mt. Nuptse (7,861 m), Mt. Pumori (7,145 m),  Mt. Ama Dablam (‎6,812 m),  Mt. Thamserku (‎6,608 m), and many others.

Arrive at the Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) where our travel attendant will be present to receive you. You'll be escorted to the hotel where you can rest for a while or visit our office.

Stay overnight at Thamel Eco Resort or another hotel with the same features.

Take an early flight from TIA to Lukla. On reaching Lukla indulge in some refreshments and then we start our trek towards Everest Base Camp with our first destination being Phakding.

Climb gentle slopes following the river banks of Dudh Koshi. Mt Nupla can be seen on the opposite side of the trail.

We reach Phakding by aftrenoon.

We stay the night at a lodge in Phakding.

Next morning after breakfast in Phakding, we restart our walk to Namche Bazaar following the left banks of Dudh Koshi.

On the way, you can see the majestic Thamserku before reaching Bengar. The path now leads upwards through a forest before reaching Chumoa.

We continue walking the ups and downs of the trail; cross a small creek and then Monjo (village).

We then finally reach the checkpoint of Sagarmatha National Park, where the officials will ask for your identification like visa and an entry fee. Walk a short distance towards the junction of Bhote Koshi and Dudh Koshi river and ascend to Namche Bazaar.

On the way, you can view Mt. Everest and Mt. Lhotse.

Namche Bazaar is a Sherpa village surrounded by mountain ranges and s the centre for food, lodging, and acclimatization before moving towards the upper regions of the Khumbu Valley.

Trekking uphill can be hard for people so today we acclimatize at Namche Bazaar. Take a visit to Khumjung monastery, Everest View Hotel, and Khunde Hospital. You can also visit the Museum in the area that represents the Sherpa culture.

Enjoy the spectacular views of mountains like Everest, Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Thamserku, Lhotse, Kwangde, Tawche, and many others.

Today we walk from Namche Bazaar to Tyanboche. The path again descends to Dudh Koshi. Along the trail, you come across Phunki Tenga, Trashinga, and finally reach Tyanboche.

Tyangboche is best known for the early sunrise coming from the mountain peaks.

After a quick breakfast, we head towards our destination, Dingboche. We walk past a hick rhododendron forest and the reach Deboche. Cross a suspension bridge over Inja Khola and move towards Minlinggo entering Imjatse Valley below the foothills of Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and Nuptse.

To adapt the coldness and altitude, today we rest at Dingboche for acclimatization. Surf around the village, hike to Chhukum and enjoy flora and fauna of the area.

From Dingboche, we start walking up to Lobuche. Its takes about 5-6 hours to reach the place and passes through Pheriche village.

During the hike, we enjoy the views of Mt. Tawache, Pokalde, Kongma-Tse, Ama Dablam, and the wall of Nuptse.

After our lunch at Dugla, we reach today's final destination, Lobuche.

After our breakfast at Lobuche, we hike to Everest Base Camp passing through Gorakshep. We walk on the rocky path of the Khumbu glacier enjoying the views Lho-La and Khumbutse on the other side.

Reach Everest Base Camp, enjoy the majestic view of the world's highest mountain, take photos and head back to Gorakshep.

Today we hike to Kala Pathar from Gorakshep and then trek back to Pheriche. We prepare ourselves for an early walk to Kala Patthar to witness the sunrise.

From here we can enjoy the magnificent views of Everest, Lingtren, Khumbetse, Lhotse, Nuptse, Thamserku, Ama Dablam, and many others.

The Himalayan Rescue Association Aid Post is based in Pheriche in case of any medical emergency.

We start moving downhill from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar, which takes about 5-6 hrs. En route, we come across traditional villages of Khunde and Khumjung.

We also visit the Yeti Scalp and finally enter Namache Bazaar in the afternoon.

Stay overnight at a lodge/hotel/ teahouse in Namche Bazaar.

Have breakfast at the teahouse in Namche Bazaar and walk down to Lukla. Lunch on the way and after reaching Lukla take the day off to explore Lukla.

Board an early flight back to Kathmandu. After arriving at Kathmandu, you'll be taken to your hotel, and you can spend the other half of the day shopping or visiting different places.

Farewell dinner will be served at Bhojan Griha, a traditional Nepali restaurant.

Clients won't be charged any cancellation fees if they abort before 30 days prior to departure. Deposits will not be refunded after the end of the deadline.

Good to know

While travelling to Nepal carry all the necessary documents required for identification. Our porters carry weights in between 20-25 kgs from your main bag. However, it is advisable to carry your daypack so you can have easy access to your camera, windcheaters, gloves, and other essential items needed along the trek.
