The 14-Day Budget Base Camp Trek is an excellent adventure with breathtaking natural beauty and vast cultural experiences. Placed in Kathmandu, the journey goes through the lovely landscapes of the Khumbu region. Upon the scenic flight to Lukla, travellers also begin their journey, going through Sherpa villages such as Namche Bazaar and Tengboche, where age-old monasteries and locals give a glimpse of the region's rare culture and traditions.

As you go through Everest Base Camp, the route also gives lovely views of iconic peaks, including Lhotse, Mt Everest and Mt Nuptse. The landscapes range from green-topped valleys to high-altitude terrain, giving trekkers to feel the changes in the scene. Highlights also include the problematic climb unto Kala Patthar, where the sunrise view over Everest is one to relish. Along the way, trekkers can also get tasty local food, providing a good sample of Nepali culture and tradition.

DAY 1

Arrival at Nepal's International Airport

Arrive at the Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) where our travel attendant will be present to receive you. You'll be escorted to the hotel where you can rest for a while or visit our office.

Stay overnight at Thamel Eco Resort or another hotel with the same features.

DAY 2

Kathmandu (1,400 m) to Lukla Airport (2,845 m), trek to Phakding (2,610 m)

We took an early flight through TIA to Lukla. Upon reaching Lukla, we refreshed and began our trek towards Everest Base Camp, our first destination, Phakding.  We climb down gentle slopes following the banks of the famed Dudh Koshi. Mt Nupla can be found on the next side of the trails.

We will be reaching Phakding in the afternoon. After this, we will settle down and rest; our stay will be the night at the lodge in the Phakding area.

DAY 3

Phakding (2,610 m) to Namche Bazaar (3,500 m)

The following day, after breakfast in Phakding, we restarted our walk to Namche Bazaar following the left banks of Dudh Koshi. On the way, you can see the majestic Thamserku before reaching Bengar. The path now leads upwards through a forest before reaching Chumoa. We continue walking the ups and downs of the trail, crossing a small creek and then Monjo (village). 

We then finally reach the checkpoint of Sagarmatha National Park, where the officials will ask for your identification visa and an entry fee. Walk a short distance towards the junction of Bhote Koshi and Dudh Koshi rivers and ascend to Namche Bazaar. On the way, you can view Mt. Everest and Mt. Lhotse. Namche Bazaar is a Sherpa village surrounded by mountain ranges. It is the center of food, lodging, and acclimatization before moving towards the upper regions of the Khumbu Valley. Stay overnight at a hotel in Namche Bazaar.

DAY 4

Acclimatization at Namche Bazaar

Trekking uphill could be challenging, so today, we'll go on acclimatization at Namche Bazaar. This Sherpa town works as an excellent base for exploration. We will take the leisurely hike at the Khumjung. Next, we will visit the Everest View Hotel, famed for the fine panoramic vistas of the surrounding peaks, and the Khunde Hospital. This remarkable feature highlights the commitment to improved healthcare. 

While in Namche, you don't have the chance to explore the local museum, which showcases the rich heritage and great traditions of the Sherpa people. They also provide great insights into their way of life, customs, and the risks they face staying in a remote area. Also, ensure to soak up the breathtaking views of famed mountains like Everest, Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Lhotse, Thamserku Kwangde, and Tawche. Later, we'll return to our hotel at Namche Bazaar for a happy overnight stay and go on the adventures that lie ahead.

DAY 5

Namche Bazaar (3,500 m) to Tyangboche (3,860 m)

Today, we will take a journey to the popular Kala Patthar all through Gorakshep and then will trek later to Pheriche. We will go on ourselves for an early walk at the Kala Patthar to see the sunrise. 

We can all enjoy the magnificent views of Everest, Lingtren, Khumbetse, Lhotse, Nuptse, Thamserku, etc. The Hayan Rescue Association Aid Post is placed at Pheriche in case of any medical emergency. Stay overnight at the lodge in Pheriche.

DAY 6

Trekking From Tyangboche (3,860 m) to Dingboche (4,410 m)

To go to coldness and high altitude, today we will rest at the state of Dingboche for acclimatization. 

Go around the village, walk unto the Chhukum, and enjoy the animal and plant species in the area.

Day 8: Dingboche (4,410 m) to Lobuche (4,940 m)

From Dingboche, we will be walking up to Lobuche. It takes about 5-6 hours to reach the place and goes through Pheriche village. 

During the walk, we will enjoy the views of Mt. Tawache, Pokalde, Ama Dablam, and the Great Wall of Nuptse. After having lunch at Dugla, we will find today's final destination, Lobuche. Stay overnight at Lobuche.

DAY 7

Acclimatization at Dingboche

To go to coldness and high altitude, today we will rest at the state of Dingboche for acclimatization. 

Go around the village, walk unto the Chhukum, and enjoy the animal and plant species in the area.

 

DAY 8

Dingboche (4,410 m) to Lobuche (4,940 m)

From Dingboche, we will be walking up to Lobuche. It takes about 5-6 hours to reach the place and goes through Pheriche village. 

During the walk, we will enjoy the views of Mt. Tawache, Pokalde, Ama Dablam, and the Great Wall of Nuptse. After having lunch at Dugla, we will find today's final destination, Lobuche. Stay overnight at Lobuche.

DAY 9

Lobuche (4,940 m) to Everest Base Camp (5,364 m)

After eating a delicious breakfast at Lobuche, we will be walking a trail through Gorakshep at the Everest Base Camp. We will be going through the strenuous path at the Khumbu glacier and see the views of Lho-La and Khumbutse in the other side of the place.

 Reach the majestic and memorable Everest Base Camp, enjoy all the best view for the world's most colossal mountain, snap through your camera, and return back to our today designation Gorakshep. Overnight is at Gorakshep.

DAY 10

Gorakshep (5,164 m) to Kala Patthar (5,644.5 m) and trek to Pheriche (4,371 m)

Today, we will take a journey to the popular Kala Patthar all through Gorakshep and then will trek later to Pheriche. We will go on ourselves for an early walk at the Kala Patthar to see the sunrise. 

DAY 11

Trek Pheriche (4,371 m) to Namche Bazaar (3,500 m)

We will start moving downhill from Pheriche to the Namche Bazaar, which will take around 5-6 hrs. We also come across the traditional villages at Khunde and Khumjung. We will also see the Yeti Scalp and finally move into Namache Bazaar in the afternoon time. Stay overnight at Namche Bazaar.

DAY 12

Namche Bazaar (3,500 m) to Lukla (2,845 m)

Have breakfast in the teahouse at Namche Bazaar and walk through Lukla. Lunch is on the way, and after going on, Lukla takes the day off to explore Lukla.

The Lukla place is lovely to visit, and while there, you will enjoy all the great scenery and become acquainted with local people.

DAY 13

Lukla airport (2,845 m) to Tribhuwan International Airport (1,400 m)

Pick on the earliest flight well back to Kathmandu. After coming on to Kathmandu, you will be seen and taken to your assigned hotel, and you can also spend the other half day shopping or visiting some interesting places.

Farewell dinner will be conducted in our impressive Bhojan Griha, a traditional Nepali restaurant—staying at Thames Eco Resort

DAY 14

Departure from Nepal

This is the last day of in all 14 Days Budget Everest Base Camp Itinerary, and you'll be  taken  to TIA for and you will catch your flight
