Ghorepani PoonHill Trek, popular as the Annapurna Sunrise Trekking is famous among trekkers of different age groups and experience levels. This is a short trekking journey and it is relatively easy when compared to other treks around the Annapurna region. This trekking route takes you along beautiful villages occupied by ethnic groups like Magars and Gurungs. You will be awestruck by the amazing beauty of the towering snow-clad peaks and the lush green forests which are home to several different species of birds, vegetation and wildlife. You get the chance to see the Mt. Annapurna I, south, II, III and IV along with Dhaulagiri, Gangapurna, Lamjung Himal, Barasikhar, Tukuche, Hiunchuli, Manaslu, Nilgiri and so on. Witnessing the early morning sunrise while the sun rays fall on the snowy peaks is an absolutely amazing sight in itself which is going to take you back.

Itinerary

As soon as you reach Kathmandu, you will b warmly welcomed by our representative who will then accompany you to your hotel. You can then take rest and relax after which you will be provided a briefing on the trekking journey. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After a hearty breakfast, we head to Pokhara from Kathmandu via drive. This will take around six to seven hours. This scenic drive takes us along the Trishuli river with amazing views of the terrains and hills. We arrive at Pokhara and take rest. Evening time can be used for strolling around the area. Overnight stay at the hotel in Pokhara.

After eating a hearty breakfast, we move to Nayapul which will take us around two hours. We head uphill to reach Ulleri and then we start our trek along with the stone-paved way, pristine waterfalls, and high bridges. We reach Ghorepani in around four hours. Overnight stay at the teahouse.

To witness the beautiful sunrise, we head to Poonhill early in the morning. We enjoy the sight of the sunrise from the Poonhill viewpoint and savor the views of the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges. We retrace our steps back to Ghorepani and grab breakfast; from here we move down to Ulleri and then drive to Pokhara afterward. Overnight stay at the hotel in Pokhara.

On this day, after eating breakfast, we move uphill to reach World Peace Pagoda. Later on, w had to the tourist spots like Gupteshwor cave, Davis Fall, and then we go boating in Fewa lake. Overnight stay at the hotel In Pokhara.
