Tour Highlights

The Gokyo Valley Trek has a God-given beauty, adventure, and cultural greatness, making it one of the best scenic trekking routes in the Everest region. This journey takes you through incredible landscapes, where Everest, Lhotse, and Cho Oyu's tall peaks have a fascinating layout. As you go through the trails, you will be surrounded by the calm glacial lakes, including the great crystal waters of the Gokyo Lakes, which shine against the entire white of the snow-filled Himalayas. The valley is also home to Nepal's biggest glacier, the Ngozumpa Glacier, a great stream of ice stretching out in front of you, offering a rare opportunity to see one of the region's most outstanding features. Along the way, you will witness several animals and plant species, great lush rhododendron forests, impressive Himalayan wildlife, and the rare ecological landscape at the great and lovely Sagarmatha National Park, listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The trek begins with exploring Kathmandu's incredible culture and finest heritage before taking the short flight to the great Lukla, the gateway to the great, impressive Everest region. The adventure goes from the state of Lukla as you follow the ever-flowing Dudh Koshi River, trekking through excellent trails with green-filled pine forests and several great Sherpa villages. The shadows of towering peaks such as Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku see you throughout the most incredible journey, adding happiness to every step. As you go towards the lovely village for the great Namche Bazaar, the busy heart of the Khumbu region, you will also experience the great Sherpa people's famous hospitality and get their famed way of life. The trail is dotted with vibrant Buddhist monasteries, fluttering prayer flags, and lengthy suspension bridges, which go over deep gorges, creating a great atmosphere of peace and spirituality. Through the Namche place, the trek moves to the more straightforward, lesser-trodden paths leading to the calm Gokyo Valley, where you can see into the serenity of the clean lakes, explore the nearby peaks, and embrace the stunning beauty and culture that makes this trek an immemorial experience.
