DAY 1

Day 1 : Reach Kathmandu

Upon reaching Kathmandu airport, you will be picked by our representative from Sherpa Expedition and Trekking.  You will be transferred to the hotel with ease. You can go stroll around the Thamel area after getting relaxed.  Dinner awaits you at an authentic Nepalese restaurant in the evening. Later, your trekking guide will brief on the trip. Overnight stay at Kathmandu.

DAY 2

Day 2 : Kathmandu to Jagat via drive (1300 meters); eight hours

Early in the morning, we set out for our journey with a drive. After having a hearty breakfast, we head to Jagat; this is going to be a scenic drive given the lush green hills, pristine rivers, and beautiful villages and mountain views we will get to witness. We reach Jagat en route Besisahar. This ride will be bumpy but will be fun. Overnight stay at Jagat.

DAY 3

Day 3 : Jagat to Dharapani (1860 meters); seven hours

Our trek starts on this day after we eat breakfast. We first descend to reach a river and then walk past fields of potatoes, barley and corn and again through the rhododendron and bamboo jungle. Then, we ascend to a cliff offering views of the majestic Annapurna ranges.  We will walk along a steep, slippery path forward. We reach the Tal village as we move across rocky paths and move down to a riverbank.  We finally reach Dharapani after walking for around seven hours.  Overnight stay in Dharapani.

DAY 4

Day 4 : Dharapani to Koto (2600 meters); five hours

We walk towards Bagarchhap on this day which will take around one hour as we walk past fir and pine forests. We will go to visit the monastery here. We reach Danaque within an hour and then the trail turns steep ahead. We can savor the panoramic views o the Annapurna II and IV and the Lamjung Himal. We walk to Latamarang which will take approximately one and a half hour where we get lunch and we resume our walk.  Now, we reach Koto Village where we stay overnight.

DAY 5

Day 5 : Koto to Meta (3560 meters); seven hours

Early in the morning, we register the important permits for the trek and restricted areas. We move along the riverbank of the river, Soti, and then amazing pine forests, beautiful streams to reach Dharamsala. We walk past lush green forests and ascend to the Meta village. Now, we reach the Tibetan Plateau where we can enjoy the mesmerizing views of Lamjung Himal and Annapurna II. Overnight stay at Meta.

DAY 6

Day 6 : Meta to Phu gaon (4080 meters); seven hours

We move across many suspension bridges across beautiful streams on this day. After walking for four hours, we reach the place named Kyang where we can witness the age-old forests of the Khampa settlement which is popular as the place where Khampa refugees who came from Tibet were captured and resided in the past). We walk along the Phu Khola on rugged terrain and then reach Phu village in around three to four hours. Overnight stay in Phu Gaon.

DAY 7

Day 7 : Acclimatization day at Phu Gaon (4250 meters)

Since we have reached a higher elevation, we have a rest day at Phu Gaon where we have plenty of time to explore the local culture, natural surrounding and the cultural traditions of the Gurung, Ghale, and Lama folks.  We can study the phenomenon of seasonal migration and animal breedings along with the agricultural works. We can also enjoy the view of the snowy peaks like the Himlung Himal and others. Overnight stay in Phu Gaon

DAY 8

Day 8 : Head to Nar (4110 meters) from Phu Gaon; six hours

On this day, we descend as we walk past several streams and suspension bridges until we reach Mahendra Pul; this will take around four hours. We cross the suspension bridge which is located 80 meters above the Lapche river gorge. After eating lunch in Mahendra Pul, we ascend till Nar village as we pass several Buddhist stupas.  This will take around two hours. We can relish the views of many peaks including the spectacular Pisang peak. Overnight stay in Nar.

DAY 9

Day 9 : Acclimatization day in Nar (4110 meters)

We spend this day at Nar exploring the surrounding because we need to acclimatize and prepare for the further journey. We can explore the local lifestyle and cultural traditions closely. We will be busy preparing for the trek the following day. Overnight stay in Nar.

DAY 10

Day 10 : Nar to Nawal (3660 meters) en route Kang La Pass (5322 meters); seven hours

On this day, we have a long hike starting early in the morning. We head to the Kang La pass; on the way we will get to see the majestic Annapurna massif. We descend down to Ngwal and stay there overnight.

DAY 11

Day 11 : Nawal to Manang (3540 meters); four hours

We head to Manang from Ngwal. We walk past the Paugh village enjoying the views of Annapurna peaks. We then walk up to Mungli which leads us to the main path of the Annapurna route from Mungli. We reach Manang where we will stay in camps for the night.

DAY 12

Day 12 : Manang to Yak Kharka (4050 meters); four hours

We walk past a stream and then climb up to the Tenki village above Manang and then walk along the Marshyangdi valley where we turn northwest to get to the Jarsang Khola valley; we move through pasture lands,  juniper trees as we move upwards.  We cross the village named Ghunsa, some mud roofed houses below the trail and then through some meadows to reach Yak Kharka. We cross a tiny river over a wooden bridge and pass through an age-old Mani wall to reach here. We stay overnight at Yak Kharka.

DAY 13

Day 13 : Yak Kharka to Thorung Phedi (4450 meters); four hours

We head to Thorung Phedi on this day. Thorung Phedi is a small settlement where many trekkers and climbers take a break. This point is used as a base camp by many travelers. We make this point our stop so we can resume our journey to the high camp conveniently with ease. Overnight stay at Thorung Phedi.

DAY 14

Day 14 : Thorung Phedi to Muktinath (3800 meters) en route Thorung La Pass (5416 meters); eight hours

We cross the cumbersome Thorung La pass on this day; this is the important highlight of this trekking journey.  We will walk through an icy trekking route which makes the journey somewhat strenuous but the views that follow will be worth the effort. We will have reached Muktinath within sunset.  Muktinath is revered by both Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims. We will have time to roam around the area which has a Monastery and Vishnu temple. Overnight stay in Muktinath.

DAY 15

Day 15 : Muktinath to Jomsom (2715 meters); four hours

We descend down the gorge of Kali Gandaki on this day as we move across the arid land. We walk past the villages of Jharkot and Khingar where we can observe exquisite Tibetan architecture. We finally reach Jomsom following the valley along the banks of the river, Kali Gandaki. Overnight stay in Jomsom.

DAY 16

Day 16 : Jomsom to Pokhara via drive; thirty minutes

After a hearty breakfast, we take a flight to Pokhara. This scenic flight has to offer the spectacular views of Dhaulagiri, and Annapurna.  You will be transferred to the hotel upon reaching Pokhara airport. You will have enough time to indulge in individual activities, You can stroll around the Fewa lake or go for a fun boat ride or for a hike to World Peace Pagoda. Overnight stay at a hotel in Pokhara.

DAY 17

Day 17 : Pokhara to Kathmandu via drive; seven hours

We retrace back to Kathmandu on this day from Pokhara. Make sure to sit on the left pane of the vehicle to relish the natural views throughout the journey. You will be transferred to the hotel upon arrival to Kathmandu. You can spend time with your travel buddies and organize the photographs.  During your leisure time, you can go buy souvenirs or stroll around the alleys.  A farewell dinner awaits you at the end of the day.

DAY 18

Day 18 : Bid farewell to Nepal

You will be transferred to the airport on this day accompanied by a Sherpa Expedition and Trekking representative around three hours before the scheduled flight.  From here, you will head to your native country or for your next travel destination.
