The 9 Days Budget Langtang Trek is amongst the best-known package to experience the mountainous regions of Nepal during your short period of stay. The rugged trails and uneven landscape of the Langtang region makes this trip an adventurous one for trekkers and hikers of all age groups. Langtang trek is the nearest trekking destination from Kathmandu, and on the route, you can enjoy the spectacular views of Ganesh Himal, Annapurna, and Langtang itself. During the trip, you'll get a chance to be close to nature and enjoy the magnificent icefalls and ice sheets in the area.

Itinerary

On arrival at the TIA(Tribhuwan International Airport), our staff member will be there to receive you and escort you to your hotel.

Stay overnight at a 3-star hotel in Kathmandu (Thamel Eco Resort or similar).

We head towards the north-eastern mountain region from Kathmandu valley. Enjoy the view of the Himalayas, terraced field, and rural Nepal along the road.

Lunch break at Trishuli Bazaar after which we proceed to Dhunche (2,030 m) and then to Syabrubesi.

The first day of our trek, we start from Syabrubesi to reach Lama Hotel following the Langtang Khola River.

We come across teahouses, suspension bridges, and dense forest along the trail.

After an early breakfast, we move from Lama Hotel towards Langtang town. The trail is full of water factories, stunning hills, and chortens. The majestic view of the Langtang Lirung makes the walk even more exciting.

Today we walk past yak grazing pastures and cross the biggest mani divider of the country. We then reach Kyangjin Gompa which is located at the height of 4,034 m.

Talk a walk around the monastery, take photos, enjoy the icefall, ice sheets, but don't litter the place.

Wake up early and visit Tserko Ria or Kyangjin Ri to watch the sunrise. After a quick breakfast descends towards the Lama Hotel. Its a 5-6 hrs walk downhill from Kyangjin Gumpa to Lama Hotel during which you get to enjoy the rich cultural heritage of the Tamang villages.

Its a 5 hrs walk from Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi following the green vegetation along the trail. Lunch at Syabrubesi.

On the 8th day, we head back to Kathmandu, taking a bus or a cab. Upon arrival, you can spend your day at the hotel or talk a stroll around the city.

Our staff will escort you to Tribhuwan International Airport via a private taxi, after which you can catch your flight back home.

  • Two night's deluxe lodging in Kathmandu (day of arrival, return from Syabrubesi)

No additional fees for cancellation before 30 days of the departure date. After that, the deposits will be non-refundable.

Good to know

Items necessary for the nine days trek have been given below. Our porters carry a weight between 20-25 kg from the big backpack.

Carry all necessary things like camera, napkin, windcheater, etc. in your backpack, so you'll have easy access while on the trail.
