Pisang Peak (Jong Ri), a high height of 6,091 meters, is a tremendous trekking peak in Nepal's Manang Valley through the renowned Annapurna Circuit. The journey at the great Pisang Peak starts at the great Besishahar, following through the ever-flowing Marshyangdi River Valley and delicate terrains. The trail leads at the Dharapani before reaching the fine Pisang village at the great mountain's base. From here, the ascent at the excellent base camp through the Kharka (4,380 meters) takes trekkers all through fine cleared woods and grassy-filled pastures, offering a great spot for going to the camp. This climb helps adventurers and trekkers with breathtaking scenes of tall peaks such as Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167 meters), Mt. Manaslu (8,163 meters), and Mt. Annapurna (8,091 meters through the dozens of other snow-clad summits through the great Annapurna region.
The move down from Pisang Peak is equally impressive and one to watch out for, as the route passes through the sacred site of the Muktinath, an important pilgrimage destination for the great Nepalese Hindus and Buddhists. Trekkers all cross the Thorong La Pass, the world's highest mountain pass, offering unparalleled scenic views of the majestic Himalayas. The final leg of this adventure takes you to the Jomsom, a vibrant town where the trek concludes with a fine scenic flight to Pokhara. A drive back to Kathmandu finishes this incredible journey from there, mixing thrilling climbs, spiritual encounters, and cultural immersion in one immemorial experience.
