Trip Overview
Tamang Heritage Trekking Trail is one of the finest trekking spots in the tremendous Nepalese city of Kathmandu Valley. This trekking package allows one to look very closely at the extraordinary lives of the Tamang societies, which are popular among the great people of the mountain region, especially in the best Langtang region. This area is close to Tiint, and this route has been taken by many traders from Tibet, exchanging salt for the meat of a mountain goat named Chyangra in Nepalese, a goat with sound material from the south.
This trek provides you with the chance to observe beautiful snow-capped mountains, and you will get to witness the local cultural dances, namely, the Syabru and Mane, at the local villages like Goljung, Gatlang, and Brimdang situated close to the Tibetan border. Afterwards, we move to Nagthali, the highest pass of this area, located in open grassland and offers magnificent views of Mt. Langtang Lirung, Ganesh Himal, Sanjen Ranges, Kerung and so on. You will surely love the hospitality and friendliness of the Tamang people at Birddim.
