There are some mountain peaks which are taller than 8000 meters. This is a great trekking option for those who are looking for a trekking path where they can savor the views of picturesque mountains and diverse vegetation and wildlife.

Different trails are taken for this journey and they are mostly covered by lush green rhododendron forests. This trekking journey starts from the place named Nayapul which is the covers the route to Poon Hill and has to offer amazing views of the snow covered the Himalayas. You will see the vista of the peaks namely Dhaulagiri (8167 meters), Annapurna I (8091 meters) along with Mt. Fishtail, Nilgiri and others. We walk past Ghorepani and even reach the Machhapuchhre Base Camp (Fishtail) and then head to ABC. We will have enough time to acclimatize and enjoy the natural surrounding during this trek. Itinerary

Welcome to the land of Himalayas, Nepal. One of the representatives from Nepal hiking Trek will receive you at the international airport and you will be taken to your hotel from there.  Overnight stay at the hotel inclusive of breakfast.

This will be a leisure day for you where you can go explore Kathmandu and do shopping if you feel like it. You will be taken on a short sightseeing tour around the capital, to Pashupatinath temple, Boudhanath and Kathmandu Durbar Square; all culturally and historically important sites. You will be accompanied by a guide on this tour. Overnight stay at the hotel inclusive of breakfast.

Early in the morning, we head to Pokhara via a drive which is going to take around six hours. You also have the option to fly to Pokhara. In Pokhara, we can relish the experience of boating or just stroll around Phewa Lake. There are amazing shopping places and eateries around Pokhara. Overnight stay at the hotel in Pokhara. This includes breakfast.

On this day, w move to Nayapul via the drive and start our trekking journey as we walk for three to five hours along the Bhurungdi river and across terraced farmlands throughout the way. All three main meals (Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included)

After a hearty breakfast, we ascend up and climb over 3000 steps for few hours till we get to Ulleri.  We walk past the lush green forest of rhododendron. We finally reach Ghorepani which is mostly occupied Magar people. All three main meals will be provided.

Before having breakfast, we walk around half an hour in order to not miss the view of sunrise from Poon Hill alongside the panorama of Annapurna, Fishtail, Himchuli, Dhaulagiri and so on. We get back to our place of stay to get breakfast and then start trekking along with green jungles and meadows. After we reach Deurali, we get down to Banthanti and eat lunch. We walk till Tadapani gradually now. All three main meals are provided.

We start walking downhill through the rhododendron forest. We cross a bridge over a river and, after passing the Gurjung village, reach the picturesque mountain town of Chhomrong. BLD.

We walk down to cross a stream and ascend to the places namely Sinuwa and Khuldighar. We move across green bamboo forest which has a rocky path. We again descend to DOvan where we stay overnight. All three main meals shall be provided.

We scale higher elevation on this day as we slow down our speed and walk across lush green bamboo and rhododendron forests. We can visit the Hinku cave on our way to the place named Deurali. Overnight stay in Deurali including breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

We scale higher altitude on this day as we get near Machhapuchhre Base Camp. We will witness the Annapurna South along with Himchuli and others. We reach our main destination on this day, that is Annapurna Base Camp. We can savor the view of glistening sunset from her. All three main meals are provided here.

Early in the morning, we relish the view of sunrise above the snow-clad peaks and then roam around the sanctuary.   We enjoy the panoramic views of Annapurna South, Fishtail and Himchuli. After eating breakfast, we head to Bamboo. All three main meals are provided.

We descend down to Jhinu Danda where we can savor the experience of hot spring bath before we get to our teahouse. All three main meals are provided.

In case of delay or cancellation, remember that if you postpone due to a medical reason, we can use your deposit for a trip on a later date. However, if you cancel the trip, the deposit is not refundable. The trip insurance will cover for the cancellation that is due to medical reasons.

In case of incomplete tour or trip, we will not b deemed liable and the money is nonrefundable.

In case of flight cancellation due to external events, it will e your responsibility to cover for the additional costs arising out of the external events like flight cancellations or any other natural disaster. Your travel insurance can cover such costs.

In case of trip baggage, a porter will carry your baggage however you are liable for the contents inside it. We advise you to not put valuable items or fragile contents inside it. Kindly carry such items in the backpack you carry with you.

How Long Is The Annapurna Trekking Journey?

Annapurna Base camp extends to the distance of 120 kilometers in total. Trekkers have to walk seven to ten kilometers each day on average. You need to walk four to six hours each day to cover such a distance. Ther are ascends and descends each day since it is a mountainous trek.

There are no much steep hills except for in Ulleri. Nevertheless, the amazing views and the surrounding make the strenuous walks worth all the effort you put in. The trekking leader will make sure you pass each distance with ease each day with appropriate planning. You will have breaks for tea and snacks which will make the journey less cumbersome and of course, extremely memorable.

How Difficult Is Annapurna Base Camp Trek?

Annapurna Base Camp Trk is less difficult compared to other trekking destinations namely Everest Base Camp trek along with Manaslu trek. Nevertheless, age and experience have a role to play as well.

We do not scale more than five thousand meters so it is fine for both beginner and veteran trekkers. However, this journey requires good health, stamina and may be hard for people at old age. We have to walk for four to seven hours per day on average. You will have breaks for tea and snacks which will make the journey less cumbersome and monotonous.

What Is The Budget For Annapurna Base Camp Trek?

Annapurna Base Camp trek can be done in USD 800 to 1800 and it is an ideal package for those who are constrained by both time and budget. This trek can be done in 11 days too but we have designed this program based on the preferences of trekkers to enjoy the trek as much as possible. This trek can be done in seven, eight or nine days as well. Annapurna Base Camp trek requires lesser time and money compared to Everest Base Camp trek.
