This trekking journey starts from the place named Nayapul which is the covers the route to Poon Hill and has to offer amazing views of the snow covered the Himalayas. You will see the vista of the peaks namely Dhaulagiri (8167 meters), Annapurna I (8091 meters) along with Mt. Fishtail, Nilgiri and others. We walk past Ghorepani and even reach the Machhapuchhre Base Camp (Fishtail) and then head to ABC. We will have enough time to acclimatize and enjoy the natural surrounding during this trek. How Long Is The Annapurna Trekking Journey?

 

Annapurna Base camp extends to the distance of 120 kilometers in total. Trekkers have to walk seven to ten kilometers each day on average. You need to walk four to six hours each day to cover such a distance. Ther are ascends and descends each day since it is a mountainous trek.

 

There are no much steep hills except for in Ulleri. Nevertheless, the amazing views and the surrounding make the strenuous walks worth all the effort you put in. The trekking leader will make sure you pass each distance with ease each day with appropriate planning. You will have breaks for tea and snacks which will make the journey less cumbersome and of course, extremely memorable.

How Difficult Is Annapurna Base Camp Trek?

Annapurna Base Camp Trk is less difficult compared to other trekking destinations namely Everest Base Camp trek along with Manaslu trek. Nevertheless, age and experience have a role to play as well.

We do not scale more than five thousand meters so it is fine for both beginner and veteran trekkers. However, this journey requires good health, stamina and may be hard for people at old age.
