Trip Overview
The 10 Days Budget Annapurna Base Camp Trek is an exciting and inexpensive adventure trip that tours to the most beautiful Annapurna Sanctuary in super, super short time. This trek is ideal for all age groups of adventure seekers as it contains a perfect combination of natural beauty, cultural immersion, and adventure.
The scenic drive from Kathmandu to the lakeside city of Pokhara is followed by a further journey to the trailhead at Modktu. As the ascended trail winds its way up, it passes through the beautiful terraced fields, Korea-like dense rhododendron and bamboo forests, and Gurung villages such as Chhomrong. The landscapes of the region represent a jolting array of rugged mountains with emerald greenery, which keeps delighting trekkers around every turn.
Reaching the Annapurna Base Camp, situated at 4,130 meters, is a highlight of this trek because it forms an amphitheater of towering snow-capped peaks. This includes Mt. Annapurna I, 8,091 meters; Mt. Machhapuchre, also known as Fishtail; and other giants over 7,000 meters. Because this naturally formed amphitheater receives limited sunlight, the atmosphere is almost mystical while standing amidst the world's highest peaks.
On the trek, cultural exposure also forms a part because there are various deities of Hindus and Buddhists in the Annapurna Region. You'll come across prayer flags, chortens, and traditional stone houses attribute towards spiritual representation. The veins of the local Gurung people are filled with warm hospitality.
Another unique feature of this trek is relaxing in **Jhinu Hot Springs**, a natural hot spring used for rest by trekkers after several days of trekking. The return way, tracing the trail back through Bamboo and the lush jungles, allows even more opportunities to soak into the diverse landscapes of the region.
This budget-friendly trek offers the best of the Annapurna region in 10 days, from the breathtaking views seen from the Annapurna Base Camp to the rich culture and serene landscapes of this trek.
